As Project Assistant, Karyn provides critical administrative support to ensure effective execution of the Refugee Childcare Business Development Project activities.
Karyn has a background in community organizing and brings a unique perspective having worked on policy and advocacy efforts related to healthcare access, discrimination protections, and removing systemic barriers to wellbeing and opportunity. Whether providing direct service or working alongside lawmakers, Karyn strives to center the goal of redistributing and building power in marginalized communities.
As a lifelong nature appreciator, she can be found skiing and backpacking Idaho’s mountains with her pup, Hobbes. Karyn finds joy in live music of all kinds and sharing her vegetarian cooking with friends.
