Tino Silva, owner of Intermountain Construction and Abatement, is living proof of the “American Dream. With EO’s help, a relationship with Zions Bank was built that ultimately helped him secure an SBA 7(a) loan and purchase the business at which he had worked for the past eight years.
The previous owner of the company was ready to retire and thought it would be simpler to shut down the business. Without Tino’s hard work, business sense and ambition, it is likely that the business would have closed, leaving nine people out of work.
EO is currently working with Tino and the Department of Commerce (PTech) to secure government bid opportunities. Tino has begun the process of becoming certified under the SBA 8(a) program (formerly known as a certified minority-owned small business) and is on his way to creating more opportunities for himself, his family and his employees.
